Great to see the link to The Merseycats site, I was I will admit though taken aback by the up to date photo,(Thanks Arty) of Chris Curtis, he looks somewhat bewildered, I was hoping to get to this club in the next couple of weeks, but business commitements are going to prevent it, however hopefully I will get a chance to go later.

Roy: Isolated photos can certainly be misleading and I would rather have had a number from which to choose. Unfortunately, photos of Chris Curtis are a scarce as hen's teeth. It is really encouraging to see Curtis back. Perhaps some interesting historical information will surface.

It is also interesting to see his set list as he has always been a master of selecting songs that tend to be well received by the audience.

Several times a year I continue to ask if there are those who have any recent information with regard to Chris Curtis. I have heard through the grapevine that he has been ill over this past winter and as such he has participated less in performances in the Liverpool Clubs which he began to visit in more recent times.

So once again, has anyone seen him lately in the local clubs or heard him on the radio?

Timothy:
"Now what I would really like is a series of weekly interviews where Spencer Leigh interviews John, Frank, Tony and Mike on an individual basis. At the end of that we might be able to put together some form of Searchers' history".

THAT I would call the scoop of the century!!

... back to the idea of 'putting all together in the same room'... the result might have been totally unexpected... personally i'd like to think they'd just make peace and everything would be fine...

I still hold that a successfull reunion of the four mentioned gentlemen would bring the Searchers back in the worldwide headlines.

Einar It would not be a scoop but a miracle as Tony regretfully is no longer with us. I would recommend a radio play called Needles and Pins, impossible to find, but I have a copy if you want one, about a guy who is made redundant(loses job)and decides he wants to spend his money on getting the original Searchers back together for a tour, Mike Pender plays himself
