Preamp/Effects: Yamaha DG-Stomp
Amp: Tech 21 Power Engine 60
Guitar: 650D

The DG-Stomp replaces the Digitech RP-300 I had before - my wife gave it to me for Christmas. Guitar Center was blowing them out for $140, and she obviously took the very large hint I dropped Image So far, I'm well pleased with the combination.

'66 335 thru Vox Cambridge 15.
'02 360 thru Vox C15 or Roland JC77.
Just got the RP200, but prefer Route 66 or Fulldrive 2.

I play my 330/6 and 620/12 (both jetglow) through:

Late 60s Sunn Sentura II, 60W with a pair of KT88 power tubes. This is running into a 4x12 cabinet with Celestion 30W speakers. This is a fantastic sounding rig, a very full sound. The ring of the 12 string is balanced by a nice bottom end.

360v64, 660/12 325v63 and soon to be 380lpz through an AC30/6TB reissue
They go together like peas and carrots

Excalibur 650 through Roland JC120. I just love the crisp of it. Sounds clear and full. And with the chorus on, seems almost like your playing on a twelve string!!!

My RICs love my Vox Pathfinder 15SMR. With the 2 Celestion 10 inch speakers the sound is very sweet.

Although this started out as a 12-string recommendation, it appears to have morphed into all guitars... so:

220, 260, 650D-VH (yeah... I'm a "solid-body" guy) into Tubeplex...dry signal out to Juke V6 (2x6V6) combo, simul stereo out to Cage 18/30 (4xEL84) combo (both combos are 1x12").

A 60-watt Valvetronix head recently arrived on my doorstep, but I am awaiting the 2x12" cab before I can properly evaluate it. But so far, it ain't bad...

330-6 into Blues Junior.

I'll probably end up blowing every amp I own. My humbuckered 650D don't wanna do dem ole style tinkly jingly jangly RICtones. It wanna ROAR and SCREAM through a Marshall, Sunn, HiWatt, Randall, or other major cajone brand of stadium amp.

Right now it is trying to destroy a Marshall.
