Europa was a Santana song.

I always liked the Lotus Europa. It was the first Lotus I ever saw in the flesh, so to speak.

Europa, sister to the Blue Riband record holding Bremen, was an Ocean Liner from Germany (Norddeutsche Lloyd ), which was sunk at its moorings in Paris during WWII, it was raised and given to France as war reparitions to replace the Normandie, which itself burned and capsized at Pier 90 un NYC during 1941. Europa was renamed the Liberte.

Now, back to your reqularly scheduled Rickenbacker Program

My mother's husband had a Lotus Europa in the early 70's. That was a fun car to ride in.
