There's a GC in Canton, MI (western Detroit 'burbs) ... been there a couple of times, didn't find the 'help' very 'helpful', mostly ...

Mike, if you go back, ask for Shawn, he is the Bass Department Manager. He'll take good care of you.

Cool guys, thanks for the tip.
The Southfield store is closer to home and much easier to get to from downtown for me ... although I did end up buying my wife's Takamine Santa Fe A/E from a guy named Mike at the Roseville (MI) store ... he was great, but that was a looooong time ago, and I have no idea if he's still there.
I bought a few instruments at the Southfield GC from Rob W. - haven't seen him in a while, don't know if he's still there. He was great, and I did refer a few folks to him as a result.

Mike might be there, but the store isn't!

It moved up the street on Gratiot a few miles.

Hey Steve - thought I noticed a big red GC sign was missing last time I cruised inbound on I-94 from Port Huron ... that would 'splain it!

I hope so, its about time! I've been watching one bass for 7 months and it is still WAY too high. I contacted GC and the fellow said "I can't go down on the price, I'll just KEEP RELISTING IT UNTIL IT SELLS".
Looks like Ken may be right. Lets see if any other stores follow the same pattern..

This guy never got the memo..I asked about the bass, and here was his answer:
"Its in 9 point condition. Are you interested even slightly or did you just want to put your 2 cents in? "
- yes, I kinda put my two cents in there, but man...$2600.00 for a 1977 4001?...that qualifies as thievery in my book...like when a clueless person goes into a crooked auto-mechanic shop, and gets charged for "blinker fluid"..

Chris,
WATCH OUT FOR THIS GUY!
I've had dealings with him recently!
His name is Chris too and to put it bluntly, either he has no idea what the hell he is doing or he just lies through his teeth.
If you would like full details, just drop me a line.
