I think they just recently started making the Laredo with a Bubinga fingerboard - like in the last year or so. Before that, they all had maple boards...

Hey Phil, Rickenbackers DO get to England from the US. I sold a 325v63 JG to a really nice guy over there last year and sent it FedEx International Priority; it may have cost a lot ($180, split by both of us), but I sent it on a Friday and he got it on Tuesday, in time for a friend of his to use it in a Beatles tribute band!

JWilli: Yeah, I had the same reaction too; I'm sure it went for that kind of price due to its association with Geddy Lee......frankly, I would have like to have had it just for that reason alone. If the story about it is true, then it's a cool find.
