Ok Jeffrey. You can´t be this cruel.

You know that we all are so jealous for that 4005.

Welcome Mark and Derek!

I'm just adding to Rick habit. Another V63! There's nothing like them!

One bad thing about buying used is you don't get that new case smell. All my cases smell like bar rooms.

That might be some new RIC products - air fresheners -Essence of New Bass, in a bottle. Maybe even a instrument cleaning spray that returns that new bass smell!
Or Essence of New Bass perfume for your wife and/or girlfriend. Mapleglo Syrup

"You know that we all are so jealous for that 4005"

I was going to say that there are quite a few who do not like the 4005 body style. The above response is Exhibit A!

Fabreeze works wonders ya know... except for cat pee and vomit... nothing on the planet works for those.

There is a legendary thread over at www.acousticguitar.com about a guy who left his acoustic on the stand during a break in a gig at a bar and a drunk barfed in the soundhole. The whole forum made suggestions for remedies for the smell for months and months. Nothing was successful. The guy sold it to a guitar shop before the guy picked up on the smell. The acoustic was a Breedlove and was subsequently dubbed "Barflove". LMAO

There is something magical about the smell of ancient tobacco smoke and french frie grease that wafts from the case when first opened . sigh.........

I'm not going to have the problem of having my gear smelling of stale tobacco shortly.

I live in Scotland and from March you cannot smoke in any public building including bars, restaurants and generally anywhere enclosed.

This is going to be fantastic for me as there's nothing worse than riding home in the car with the smell of old fags coming off my gear

"there's nothing worse than riding home in the car with the smell of old fags coming off my gear"

I guess that one just depends on where you play... LOL! ("old fags" meaning something somewhat different on this side of the pond!)

I never expected those laws to make it past the U.S. but in a way they're great. I'll agree wholeheartedly once I've completely quit and I don't feel like a second-class oppressed citizen anymore for what I choose to waste my money on...

Think the smell of Elton coming from your gear assaulting your nostrils in the car???

I'd take Elton over Liberace at this point...

I must admit I didn't think that one through.
