Great thread, guys! Bob I really liked reading your observations on the etiology of the 660. Neat. Course, being the RIC picture junkie that I am, can't avoiding posting a pic or two of my own 2001 660/12, muhaha...

As far as the wide neck goes, I'm indifferent to it. It's comfortable enough even though I don't have large hands and almost always prefer the 3xx/12 series necks. The best bits are that it's a great sounding, great looking guitar (and it's easy to play while sitting).
