The guy wearing the "mask" was from Slipknot, a band I've heard of but never heard. We also saw autograph lines for Nikki Sixx and for the guitar player from Static-X. The interesting thing is, Dick Dale (the king of surf guitar) was there and he was taking pictures with and talking to just about everybody without any lines.
It WAS loud and it WAS crowded and I probably wouldn't want to go every year, but as a once in a lifetime thing it was a blast. And the people watching...incredible!
