Hello everybody.

this is an open invitation. If anyone is thinking about coming over to Scotland, send me an email and I can let you know the best places to go away from the beaten track. I go about 4 holidays a year - 3 of them are in Scotland and I still haven't seen everything.

Originally from Nazareth PA, the home of Martin guitars. Now from Costa Mesa CA, the next town over from the home of Rickenbacker.

Lincolnshire, East Midlands, UK. And I last had haggis two weeks ago for a "Burns Night" bash, washed down with Glenfiddich. You don't even want to think about what goes in Haggis.

Hawkwind, Franz Ferdinand, Texas (V63 I think) all feature Rickies live.

Hi Derek! I'm from Norway, living near Oslo. (You lived in Norway Bobcat?) I visited Scotland last summer with my family (Glasgow, Hebridees, Edinburgh etc.) Love the single malts and even the haggis and the black pudding!

Hey Derek.
I live in Lisbon, Portugal. That's right, Spain's tiny neighbour.
Though there aren't any Rickenbacker dealers in Lisbon (or anywhere else in Portugal!), you can find many 4001/4003 basses in private owners' collections, or the odd used Rickenbacker bass at one or two local instrument stores. That's how I got the nine Rickenbacker basses I currently own, and the six or seven ones I let go in recent years. Wherever I take any one of my Ricks to play locally, specially my 4080 (= double-neck), they cause a sensation.

I live in Fairfax, VA, about 15 miles west of DC. I'm originally from Baltimore and still mourn the day the Colts were taken away.

Same neck of the woods (fields?) as Jason and Dean, but it looks like my field will be beans this year.
