I played a 370BG twice, at Classic Axe, it was a sweet sweet instrument - tempting ! So there you have it, Anthony continues to make us jealous with his collection of semi-hollow Rics.

Early '80s Ricks are awesome, and somewhat overlooked. There doesn't seem to be many on the market either.

My March 1984 330 (which I bought new) is one of the best Rickys I've ever played, with a combination of features not found on Rickys from other eras.

I had a 12 string - mid eighties - like Tony's latest one and I couldn't give it away! - funny how these things go.

I had an 83 320 that had a 3/8" top which made it pretty heavy. Around 84/85 they went back to the 1/4" top and change the internal structure. I didn't like the 320,but I played a 360wb from the same year that sounded amazing. I kick myself for not buying it. Sweet find on the 360wb.

Lovely, lovely Rics, Tony....

Early '80s Rics are often overlooked and underrated..... My very first Ric, (and very favorite 330) is a 1982, and it is a wonderful-sounding and playing guitar with a beautiful smooth sound.... And I love it even more now that it's a Purpleburst!
