I'm from Ma. as I know you were Eric and the rep around here for Berkeley grads is usually all chops/no soul and/or fusion heads. I've played with a few and found them to be very good musicians although I don't meet many in my circle. I think people's attitudes change after school anyway. Some monsters came from there, that's for sure.
