Near the Rick setup at NAMM was the RotoSound stand. They had two posters up advertising their strings, one with Franz Ferdinand, the bassist holding a Rick and the other Pink Floyd, Roger holding his Rick.

John Deacon said he couldn't get along with his Ric. Possibly a matter of playing style it seems, rather than sound.
A vastly underrated bassist from a simply brilliant band.

Nate, I remember a pic from the DSOTM recording sessions where the Precision is lying around, still white a white pickguard and the pickup and bridge covers.

That video must have been done by the same guy who did "Live at Pompeii" -- no shots of Gilmour anywhere. :^(

That white P bass is one of the ugliest things I've seen in a while. That pickguard is nasty!
