I still like the gold! What can I say. It does look nice through all of its transistions. Enjoy!

I'd go with chrome parts and the silver letter TRC.

Awesome looking bass, either way.

Gee Brian, the gold hardware on your Lemmy must really be bugging you. As I know you wouldn't consider changing the LK's hardware, I guess you must be thinking of selling it...

I actually think the gold looks pretty good with the walnut of the LK and Ci. While I generally think that the gold looks "pimpy" on most colors my biggest issue with it is that it wears horribly and looks bad after a short period of usage....both my LK and Ci gold hardware looks like it is far older and more abused than it actually is.

Even with the worn looking hardware I think I'll keep my LK. Image

The black trim looks good, & if you're gonna gig it, it lasts pretty well too.

Maybe it's just the pics, but to me the black sort of deadens the vibrance of the green. I'm obviously biased but I prefer the chrome look.

just one man's opinion.

Black or gold on trans green looks great.
I also agree that chrome would look great on the BBR's.
Nice look either way Brian.
I'm gasing for my 4004L BBR so bad, I may have to run down to Rhoades Music today, and pick up that lovely 4004cii natural he has.

You know when that BBR comes in you'll have no problem selling the Nattie if you want to!

All Parts has a black jackplate that's a near exact match for the mono RIC plates. It's part#AP 0637-003. I've been using the chrome ones on my 3000 projects.

Good call on All Parts Dane. I have used them as well and they do quality work.

"Aceonbass". The guy that introduced Paul to John was named Ivan Vaughn. Paul would always say Ivan Vaughn, Ace on Bass. Just a little trivia for you Dane!

My wife, an avid Beatles fan as well, told me that several years ago which is where I got the handle in the first place.

Edgar....if you need chrome hardware for your incoming BlueBurst let me know....I just happen to have a virtually new set that I'll sell for a reasonable sum!

Vito....that is the reason I grew to not like the chrome as much as I did originally....I thought it took the impact of the green away somewhat. With the black the green, to me, seems more intense than with the chrome. It also seems to bring out the flame a little better....which helps mine since the flaming is a little light/sparse.

Some like 'em either gold, chrome or black! All opinions are equally valid and it is nice that we can have a little variety. To me they all look great but with the black it appeals to me the most.

Brian,

Chris at POTR said he was going to change the hardware when the 4004 comes in. Just a straight swap with the gold. But just in case, what are you asking?
