My Jag buzzes a bit, but you can't hear it thru the amp (Fender Dual Showman). I've never been a fan of that Mustang bridge mod, but horses for courses, as they say...

Just incredibly sweet, Bill...

The JG ones are very special.

Get a butterscotch switch tip or paint it with some hobby enamel. Some yellow, a touch of brown and tone it down with some white. Let it dry overnight.

Gibson replacement tips work perfectly with the C58 switch..and they are available in that "already aged" cream color.

You know it's interesting...when I got home this afternoon I compared the switch tip to some Gibby cream ones I had--it's the same shade--I think it shows up whiter than actual in the pic. It was kind of funny, because when I read Paul's recommendation and looked at the pic, I thought the same thing--"geez, that thing is bright!".

None the less, I just checked Guitar Parts Resource, they carry both black and "amber" tips--I think the amber might be the perfect solution.
