My Jag buzzes a bit, but you can't hear it thru the amp (Fender Dual Showman). I've never been a fan of that Mustang bridge mod, but horses for courses, as they say...

Just incredibly sweet, Bill...

The JG ones are very special.

Get a butterscotch switch tip or paint it with some hobby enamel. Some yellow, a touch of brown and tone it down with some white. Let it dry overnight.

No, I agree, a butterscotch tip would look much better.

Gibson replacement tips work perfectly with the C58 switch..and they are available in that "already aged" cream color.

You know it's interesting...when I got home this afternoon I compared the switch tip to some Gibby cream ones I had--it's the same shade--I think it shows up whiter than actual in the pic. It was kind of funny, because when I read Paul's recommendation and looked at the pic, I thought the same thing--"geez, that thing is bright!".

None the less, I just checked Guitar Parts Resource, they carry both black and "amber" tips--I think the amber might be the perfect solution.

You guys are great--appreciate the thoughts and comments!
