I think that the only thing with Monty Brown is that the guards and TRC needs to be gold IMO. I guess that in my mind that color reminds me of the '50 Ricks when they all had the gold plastic on them and the white plastic doesn't look quite right.

Melissa's has so much figuring in the wood that the guitar kind of looks like a "Lightshow". Hypnotize your audience by moving it around in the stage lights!
This thread is not helping my RAS at all.

Don't I know it.... Pictures really don't do it justice. In hand, the figuring in the wood seems to jump all over the place as you move the guitar--it is quite hypnotizing--and it sounds super, too. And to make it even better, it still has that heavenly Ric-o-'roma.... Hmmmmm, I think it's been too long since I've played that one....I'll have to get that one out and play it later....
Oh, and this is a small milestone for me: 1500 posts!

I'ts taken me a while to get this far, LOL! All for the love of Rickenbackers....

Congrats Mrs Breitsprecher!
And I think that's the most amazing top to a Ric I've ever seen - although the downside is, you'll never want to let Paul to do one of his re-finishes on it!

Oh no, not even the Curmudge could improve the face of that one, LOL!

....But then again, wouldn't it look great in transparent blue?

Hmm... transparent? I've seen a couple of transparent guitars, but... oops, my head! Transparent
color, not transparent
body!
A great looking guitar, Melissa... and congrats on yet another round number!
