April, hmmm...sounds like fun.
Kevin, if Steve does "Free Bird", we will still be there in August.

Still working on it, Paul, gigs are flooding in and I have to see if we have the weekend off.

I've heard that Steve's band does an awesome version of Freebird ... and while you are at it maybe you can do "play that funky music white boy" and "proud Mary"

Sure you are, like a trip to the dentist.
What is the make up of the band? Gory details if you please sir.
Like any good horror story, we need to know about the crew's character, or story if you will. Lord knows some characters are a coming.

Makeup? We don't wear no stinking makeup!
Just kidding...
Well, it's a 4-piece, Mark on shredding guitar & vocals, Keith on keys and vocals, Dave on drums and me on 4, 5 & 12 string basses and vocals.
We do covers from the 60's to now, Doors, Hendrix and Zeppelin to Jet and U2. No whiner rock, just good time stuff, you might also hear some Floyd, Nugent, Guns N Roses, stuff like that.

Seems as though you cover a wide range of music. How does the group make decisions on what makes the set list? The biggest ***** fest my group has is era of the music. We are only three and yet it can be a pain agreeing on material.
At practice I can get them to roar through most anything. Playing out set lists are a struggle.

I make the set list. That's how it works.
I tried to delegate it but it didn't work out.
And Jeff, save your breath, that song is not on it. EVER.

I remember going to an open jam years ago and a band called "Shutup" was playing ... their fans started yelling Shutup!!! well the band was mediocre ... so pretty soon the whole bar was yelling SHUTUP!!! they didn't play freebird either ...
