Alex,
Welcome to the forum. I live in Vernon BC Canada. I retired from being a professional musician in the mid 70's. I miss being in a band on occasion, but realistically I don't have time for playing gigs anymore.

So. Maryland, no band, but recently started jamming with a fellow Ric-owner, we're working on a playlist...not sure what our long term aims might be.

Atlanta here.
I'm in 3 1/2 bands at the moment. The main one is SINGLE MALT SOLUTION :
www.myspace.com/singlemaltsolution
I also play with a talented acoustic singer songwriter chick sometimes:
www.lindseyhinkle.com
There's the "drop D flat angst project" 3 Peace Boiler.
The complete stoner jazz odyssey experience: Pagoda. We only get together about 4 times a year when my old guitar player can get a pass from the wife.
And when my old singer visits we brush the dust off of the Bright Light Burnout set:

Uh, I guess that's actually 4 1/2. No wonder I'm tired all the time.

Tampa, FL. Played piano and bass at Howl at the Moon (dueling piano bar with full band) for about a year and a half, got tired of playing Piano Man and I Saw Her Standing There every night, currently reviving Full Liquor Dancers, which is a band I formed about three years ago, played one gig, then the bass player moved to Miami, the keyboardist to Los Angeles. New lineup is just me and a new drummer so far. Seeking bass players but not waiting around for one. Ric-o-sound really fills out the sound.

I was in that bar during Gasperilla weekend. Listening to piano bar music is torture ... sorry. You made a good move.

Welcome. From Nu Yawk, Nu Yawk. Stan, I'm a huge Buddy fan but, hang my head, I've not been to Lubbock once. I have to see it, though, take a Buddy tour. No longer in a band but jam annually with highschool friends just outside of Paul W's hometown (Chgo., IL.)

Glen, other than the Buddy Museum, his grave site and a few other stops, there isn't much left to see here. You're welcome to make a stop anytime though, and I'll show you around.

Scranton, PA here. Project Manager by day. Main gig on weekends is top 40/classic rock band "Take5" doing the usual parties clubs and weddings. My side project for originals is "Willing Minds" with good local FM airplay. Also do some studio work and the occasional acoustic guitar duo since I'm a bit of a guitarist too. Haven't gotten to putting the originals up anywhere yet unfortunately! The Take5 website is
www.take5productions.com if you need to see my ugly mug and many basses in action!
