GC is opening a store about a mile from my house in Millbury, Ma. Too bad they didn't still stock Rics.

If do like the GC in Natick, MA for atmospheric reasons. It's more quieter than the Boston one. The salespeople are not as obnoxious as the Boston one.

I don't think GC is a Fortune 500 company, but I get the point. I see them as no different than Mars Music. They just have more name recognition and outlasted them. GC is nothing more than a bank that lends money to people to buy musical instruments. That model can't last forever.

I bought my Sea Green and a 78 Azureglo 4001 the same day at the one on Com Ave. in 2001, they had at least ten or twelve Rics hanging with the oldest being a 73 MG. Wish I could go back in time. I also bought two V63's in Natick. GC lost a lot for me when they lost their Ric dealership, they didn't seem to be stocking the basses at the end anyway.

I got my Susanna Hoffs at the Natick GC at a steal. They also hooked me up with a minty Gretsch Monkees model too.

Yeah, they had some nice stuff there, not so much anymore though. I saw a nice 67 (didn't even make them in 67 as far as I know) Tele bass there a few weeks ago but they wanted 3299.00, haha!
