John: Your '67 950 JG is just like my '64 ES-16 JG, except for the neck pick-up and associated knobs. My case has a blue lining. I thought that the 900-series guitars had the 'cresting wave' body like the 400-series guitars. I guess there were a lot of variations on these guitars. You learn something every day!

Randy, it's been written that the 950 body was changed to the 450 body shape around 1970, but I have yet to see one, they either look like mine or are true tulip-shaped guitars like the earliest versions. The 900 had one p/up(like your Electro) and the 950 had two.
