Howard, I thought about making it into a belt buckle too but I was worried what could happen if it exploded while I was wearing it.

Melissa, Would that Ric be purple, by any chance?

The guitar it was originally on had gold guards and nameplate from the factory. The bridge cover had also been plated to match. The gold on the cover is mostly worn off now but the R tailpiece still looks great. I have another guitar with gold plastic that I am going to put this tailpiece on the next time I change strings.
