If you can't find those plastic washers locally let me know. I needed some of them a couple of years ago and couldn't find them at any of the local hardware stores. I was placing an order from a screw supplier for some black allen head screws to replace the phillips head bridge saddle adjustment screws and I ended up having to order these things in quantities of 100 or so. I just ordered a bag of the plastic washers at the same time. I'm sure I've got a bunch of them laying around the house here somewhere if you can't find them. They seem nearly identical to the stock parts.

Greg, a good substitute for the factory washer is a #10 nylon washer; I get these at Ace Hardware, too. I have spares as well at hand, so if you can't find them locally and Jeff can't find his stash of them, let me know.

I just got my parts from Ric. The 01900 part number is the complete mute pad assembly, including pad, springs, nylon washers and thumbscrews. So I have an extra set of springs & thumbscrews.

I assume there is another ground wire under the bridge that I will solder the mute pad ground to?

The mute seems to hit the middle strings first though, so I can't seem to adjust it to have equal mute on all strings. I guess the strings will wear through the mute pad though, so maybe if I adjust up so it's hitting the middle strings they'll end up wearing it down eventually??

You can open things up again and bend the metal/pad to the correct curvature to equally hit the strings at the same height. All 4 will mute the same then.
