Does UK family law really work like that? I was under the impression that she MIGHT have a shot at half of what he's earned since they were married, but not half of his total worth.

If she gets half and Paul keeps the Hofner, will the Rick end up on eBay?
I can see it now:
One slightly used Rickenbacker bass.
Includes long shiny strings.
What would the Buy-It-Now be on that baby?

This boot is made for hopping, and hopping's just what I'll do. One of these days this boot is gonna' hop right over you!

Chris, Paul doesn't have to move a muscle to make more in an hour than some do in a year. I read she'll settle for 50 million pounds. Not a bad day at the office.
How long until this thread gets yanked? I think we are heading in that direction.

I think the goal is NOT to get it yanked, so take that into consideration before posting

50 million pounds? Share and share alike, I know, but does he think she actually contributed 50 million worth of anything to the marriage? I doubt his record sales improved just because of her. Why shouldn't Paul get a percentage of the income that her being married to him generated for her? The Rutles were right: "Gimme Some Money." But, in the spirit of keeping this thread, do you suppose Paul told Heather what 12 string George used on "Ticket to Ride?"
