Ahh, you all are not alone. I remember when I was in high school a local shop was selling an early 60s strat, fiesta red. I can't imagine it was more than $600. That's worth ten times what mine is. Ugh.

My first (real) guitar was a '64 strat. Got it in Hollywood, used, for a couple hundred.
Hung onto it til the early '90's. Sold it for close to 2 grand. What a killing, thought I.
Now I see the same guitar, sometimes in poorer condition than mine, for 10 times that. #@%&*#

Jerry, you sold around the same time I saw a 50s Les Paul Jr. for 1300.00 in a store. I thought that was insane. Now they're 8 grand. Who knew. But if this turns out to be a bubble, I may regret not selling now.
