how is the set neck installed? Through the body? My 57 has the neck through the body.

There is a pocket routed, like for a bolt on neck, then the neck is set in place in the pocket. The neck extends into the body about 5" or 6". It seems very sturdy. I would take the pickguard off and take a picture, but I do not have a digital camera or a scanner yet. I'll have to borrow one. When I do, I will post a pic..
