Peter I have a G7th also. They are the best IMO. Pricey, but they work equally well on both 6 and 12 string Rickenbackers.

Graham your Rickenbacker must be very talented. It seems to have a bit of a speech impediment though. Image

I'm not worried about the finish on the neck.
I'm worried about putting a permanent dent in the strings.
So I always take it off after playing.

Ditto with the G7th... best capo IMHO. I use it on all my guitars except my classical which has a classical Shubb.
