I use it here and there, but I've been accused of being a tad verbose... I prefer eloquent, myself.

So to clarify, "nary" means "not a . . . " or "without."

I have a J Dog song where one verse is:
Two kids, waiting for Mary
to go from school to apothecary
never would'a given nothin' nary a thought
It doesn't really mean anything.
