That's a great shot of PAul and Ringo on the right. Yeah, Macca looks like life is kicking the **** out of him, but there's something very Beatley about that shot - it's wonderful to see and to see them together. It's moments like that, like in this photo, I think of the Cavern, Hamburg, Abbey Road....the history these men share is unprecedented....
Body language on the Yoko shot (not the kiss one) is odd, no?
Maybe she'll help Julian out a bit....not sure I understood her quoted comments about her photos w/Cyn. Is that just a "she can still screw herself" comment...?
And what's up w/Sean? Guess he's not much interested in the legacy except to pay his bar tabs in the Village....

Besides being my all time favorite drummer, Ringo is a great guitar player. It's amazing to me how many Beatle fans conveniently or otherwise, forget that fact. It's almost as if they don't want to know. LOL

While My Guitar Gently Weeps is one of Ringo's finer efforts on guitar. Randy pointed that little know fact out some time ago on the forum.

Ask Randy if you don't believe me. He pointed it out to us. Amazed yep. Flabbergasted yep. I was all of those things. I had alway thought it was EC as well.
So now Ringo is one of my all time favorite guitarists...thanks to Randy.

Y'know, I kind of recall, somewhere in Lewisohn, the implication that Ringo plays BOTH parts of the "And Your Bird Can Sing" guitar harmony part....
Yeah....you're right - I have had a hard time with this fact.....
Once you sound it out though, it makes absolutely perfect sense.

Fact?... somebody had better give Mark Lewisohn a call and clue him.
In the meantime I'll be making a new tin foil hat.

Here is the exact quote from Randy on January 16, 2006
"Posted on Monday, January 16, 2006 - 07:53 pm:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Brian: It's a little known fact that Ringo played many of the toughest lead guitar bits (i.e. 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps'). I think that Ronn is simply looking for an excuse to buy another bass. I've seen a picture that he once posted, and it had enough guitars and basses to outfit several bands. But then a guy like me with thirty-something guitars shouldn't pretend to be the voice of sanity.
Ronn: Just buy another bass. It'll make you feel better!"
