I remember Ted, you explaining to me that the ebony was probably expensive, and we couldn't figure out why someone who had done such shoddy work put that fingerboard in there to begin with.
All I know is right now, she playing and sounding nice, berry,berry nice ...

The ebony plank I bought for my faux thousand two cost about $145. It was only enough to make 4 blanks. The same dollar amount of bubinga would make a few dozen boards.

Horseshoe and HB-1...sorry Ted, the bass has seen some transformation since it left you...What I find amazing about the bass is the huge tonal difference you get playing in front of, and then behind the shoes. Like two totally different basses.
