John,

Agree on all points about RIC and Mr. Hall. I've never met him or his team, but have heard so much about the company and it's ethic from others thru this forum that it takes the sting (well, SOME of it) out of the wait. As for the 75th...it would be a shame to miss it, since I live in Phoenix and have a bunch of friends in the L.A. area (and I used to live there), but I'm starting a new job in my company in mid-July, and they're already sending me to New York for a week with the promise of more to come, so I'm leery right now of making plans.

Of course, what I'm HOPING for is maybe that same weekend (Aug 25-27) I'll be having my own little RIC celebration with a 360/12C63.

And, yeah, keep that encouragement coming! I figured there were at least 25 other people out there like me....nice to know names of some of the other "insane people" like me. You didn't say where you were on the list, but it sounds like you, me and Brian are clumped fairly close together. Let's hope we are all happy campers fairly soon!

Jerry & Brian,

Hear, Hear to Happy Campers...I'll drink to that!! Keep me posted.

Great minds must think alike, because as I was writing my post last night, I was thinking, "Wouldn't it be cool to get my 360/12c63 about the time of the 75th. Then again, to get it the day I left might be torture! They say there's a fine line between pleasure and pain, that might be over the line for me.

I'm actually #3 on the list at the Music Zoo. I initially contacted Gary and he gave me the same basic info he gave you; I was really impressed with his honesty and integrity.

I called some other places just to see where I might be on their list, and finally decided on the Music Zoo. I bought my 360/6 from them, and Tim Reynolds their sales manager was great. It was really a toss-up between them and NCM, I guess what tipped the balance for me was the fact that I had done business with him before, and the deposit was a little less. I have to tell you though, I have been so impressed with the loyalty people have shown to Gary and NCM that I plan to go through him for something in the future. I have a friend who has bought his 325c58 from Gary and has a 1996 on order, and echos everything you say. BTW, I also have a 4003 AFG on order.

Keep the faith.

Hello all,
Hang in there guys, the waiting is the hardest part. I've had my order for the 12c63 with Gary/NCM since aug 03. Started around #23, now down to about 12. Also been waiting on a c64s (just a few months), so Mr Ben's news re the 360's and 4001's is "double plus good"!
As for Gary at NCM, can only say he is da bomb

I ordered on August 13, 2004 from NCM... I am #20 at the moment, based on what's been denoted on Gary's website... (i.e. started out at #28).

Gary is great to do business with though, and the 12c63 is worth the wait!

I have no idea where I am on the list. My thinking is... I get them when I get them. It's just the way it is. When Gary tells me they are in, then I'll get excited. I always seem to find something to buy to keep me happy!

Jerry,
Yeah, its a good thing you aren't obsessing, because that would set a bad example for the rest of us who are trying to control ourselves...not always successfully either!
