I can't help think...Lennon could've and possibly came close to beating Syd to eggs-brains-on drugs-syndrome.

Thanks for getting things back on track, Greg. I heard a radio show today playing the audio from a Syd Barrett DVD that chronicles his time with the Floyd, interviews with Waters, Gilmour, and Mason, up to the last time they saw him in 1975, during the recording of Wish You Were Here. Very sad to hear of his passing. Amazing to think of how big the Floyd got even after "losing" their lead singer and primary songwriter.

The other story I heard about Keith and the tree incident is he had a stroke before falling from the tree and hitting his head.
