No one is playing anything in that video.... except John playing the harmonium with his feet! Very funny! I think George is holding his Casino.

That's a great video John. Their humor was priceless at times.

I didn't think the look seemed condescending, either. Polished London upper class always looks that way!

"Polished London upper class always looks that way!"

Not always, especially not these days.

Sometimes the look can be attributed to the person on the receiving end being bored with your opinion or worse your station in life. I should know, many years ago I experienced that type of look personally. Mercifully those days are somewhat on the wane.

Yes, but you've got to realize that the video in question is almost 40 years old. And, George Martin has admitted in recent years that he didn't give George as much attention as he gave John or Paul.

Well, I guess it's natural that overall Martin would have paid more attention to John and Paul given that they were the songwriting power in the band (to say the least).

I like Harrison's line when the Beatles first met George Martin: ....." When he told the Liverpool lads to speak up if there was anything they did not like, George Harrison replied: ‘Well, I don’t like your tie for a start!’ "

Pure Beatles.

George is "playing" a Gibson 345(?).

I thought the tie line was directed at Brian Eppy at the first formal meeting with him.

The tie comment was said to George Martin.

That line wasn't just very Beatles, it was very George! It was definitely directed at George Martin.

Agreed, Jwilli, that was the Gibson 345.
