I'm often on the tarmac at LAX and I can't tell you how many times I've seen bags of every size and description (including surfboards) fall from the cargo hold. They ain't paying those handlers big bucks. Get a flight case or carry it on!

Yep, mine arrived yesterday..I went with a Calzone, very similar to the A&S case that Andy has. I seriously thought about the MT double case that Tom Heslin makes, it's a real beauty---but I just didn't need that much. No carry on luggage of any type allowed to, from or on internal flights in the UK for the forseeable future (not even a small bottle of drinking water)!
