The US asking prices for vintage Rickenbacker's have been rising steadily, with many now actually higher than the UK. Due to the size of the market and disposable income here, you are far more likely to find a buyer in the US too.

Even though the exchange rate is very helpful at present to us Brits, I still think it's hard to sell big $$$ items there. There always seems to be stuff on sale, but very few asking prices are being realized.

I have seen an increase of potential good deals coming from mainland Europe in the last couple of years, as prices in the US have gone crazy...
