Didn't Paul once allude to the fact that after a certain amount of time the rights revert back to him?

I don't think so.

If anything, I think things become public domain, no?

Yeah, this Heather thing has struck a serious blow to the clever businessman Macca image.

That, and of course, instructing Jackson to buy music publishing.

Jerry...you're right. When asked if he would ever consider buying the catalogue he said no as "in a couple years, some of the rights revert back to me anyway." (not verbatim though). It was in the Rolling Stone interview with him on the cover a little more than a year ago.

He already owns the rights to "Love Me Do" and "P.S. I Love You".

I may just be a matter of waiting for the Jackson kid to financially drop to being very money needy.

Given MJ's expenditures verses his income and NO career or prospect of one at present, it all may work out to Sir Paul's advantage by simply waiting it out.
I believe it will

What Paul should do is buy Michael's catalog. And burn it.

MJ may actually have a career playing shows in Asia or something. Who knows.

He won't be making anything like he once did but if Willie Nelson in his 60s can pay the IRS 21 million, without coming up with a hit, in a few years, anything's possible if one still has a live gig.

Did Jackson sell his ranch?

Har-har.

What a double bill, MJ and Asia, in Asia.
