That's quite a shame then isn't it. Something must have gone wrong with the relationship it seems. Maybe something will get worked out in the future, I hope so, John F. would be great to have endorse Ricks again - JMO.

I'm reasonably sure there won't be a Martin Fogerty model either. I watched him smash a D-28 (I think) to bits after getting PO'd that it broke a string during "Who'll Stop The Rain". It was at Little Rock, Arkansas' Riverfront Amphitheatre about 8 or 9 years ago. He seemed ****** that he had 2 or 3 wireless units on, and couldn't get untangled to change guitars. He walked back behind the amps after the song and smashed it!

JF was on Austin City Limits yesterday, a re-broadcast from 2004. No RIC. He looked amazingly young, and played and sang his heart out. Noticed his black LP Custom was tuned down to D vice E.

If you wanna hear some Classic CCR tones just hook up your Ric to a Kustom. I have a Ric 360 and seven Kustom's. The tone is there as soon as you crank one up to four or so. Amazing!

I found that when I switched to the bridge pickup on my 330 Ruby and cranked the bass control all the way up on my recent Kustom 36 Coupe, the sound was distinctly Who-like. Kustoms rock!
