Azureglo has darkened over the years, I remember them during the 70's when they were new and they seemed much lighter, mine is fairly dark now. I was told and thought it was Midnight Blue when I bought it, it's a 78 4001.

At the SoCalCon last year, John Minutaglio had a VERY dark Azureglo 4005 in mint condition. It was so dark, I had to look again, thinking it was Jetglo at first. John Hall said that it looked like a factory paintjob and that Azureglo could have been applied dark like this. Take a look:
