I have one bridge piece like that and it can cause clicking when I play with fingers.

That looks like what happens when you put new saddles in an older 70's bridge. Assuming they're not going back to the slightly higher saddle screw placement of the older bridges, I'd say those new saddles have the screw holes offset a little south of where they're supposed to be. You can put very thin washers under the saddles or you can enlarge the saddle screw holes downward slightly and re-countersink them.....or just send it back to the factory. It probably just needs $10.00 worth of new saddles.

Alex - I got the results you're seeing in your bridge in the scenario that Dane described when I ordered uncut saddles for my older bridge. I consider this to be a problem for the sustain and radius issues as well.

Thanks for all your help, guys...this is a great forum.
I'm in the process of trying to work out a warranty replacement with Rickenbacker via my dealer; I'll keep you posted.

I have to second (third?) what Dane and Mark are saying. I've tried to put new saddles on an old bridge and the result looked similar to your photos. The saddles rocked slightly and rattled. Not optimal! I wonder if a box of old bridges somehow found its way into the parts bin?
RIC oughta take care of it for you.
