John: I should have another for that wall soon. I my crushed MOP inlay technique is finally getting somewhere. Dale revealed to me some inlay nija secrets that I am not allowed to divulge. Suffice it to say that they work nicely.

I have all mine hung on wall stands (the room is temperature & humidity controlled) - no problems at all. Just get good 'uns :-

I have a bass that I bought from a forum member that has 2 places where the paint is damaged ... it is the 2 points of contact where the wall hanger brackets contacted the headstock ... so you have to watch the rubber that comes in contact with the finish to make sure that it does not damage the finish of the instrument ...

My 4001CS has been hung on a String Swing wall hanger for 14 years now. No problems. I tweak the rods about twice a year (Chicago climate). Other than that it's all good. It's a beautiful sight, and I can grab it easily when it calls my name.

John - Any chance you could come to Arlington later this month? Ted Staberow will be there and a lot of other people that would like to meet you.
Leprosy is rare & scarce but nobody wants that!
