So I wonder, are the new poles type-U drive screws made to accept an allen wrench or is it a different kind of screw altogether?

With the new neck profile and adjustable polepieces this is going to be an unbeatable bass!
These are 2 of my 3 beefs with the 4003 that have been addressed here. The 3rd is the bridge and I think Ric have something in mind for sorting that problem as well. I just dont fancy the Hipshot. As soon as the 4003 comes with all 3 mods my order will be in like a flash.

Isn't it interesting that RIC has always made their pickups the same size so that they can retrofit for each other with the exception of the horseshoe and the wider 70's humbucker?
I'm sure that limits the sound capabilities to a certain extent but it makes the modding easier!

My newly arrived 4003 MG has them, but they were set WAY wrong on the bridge pickup.The one that's a pain to get to.

The neck is a bit thicker that the ones I played at the confluence, it'a about 7/8th in. a calibrated guess from sighting past a ruler.I dunt have a caliper
