No Jerry, Bought it online at the same time as the 325v63. The only Ric I had played before that was my second hand 360v64 that I bought a few weeks previous.

Back to the "R" tailpiece... I didn't like it on my 360 and I really don't like the look of the trapeze! Why not install a bridge like the 650 series??? It works great, the tension is fine and it's easy to change the strings!! If I'm not mistaken, I believe the 380 Laguna sports one!?Image

As a fan of the "R" tailpiece, and an opponent of the Trapeze, I am very pleased with the look of the 380 Laguna.

I think both look great. If the R were actually discontinued, I'd be perfectly happy with the trapeze.

You would have to wonder how safe the toasted R would be if put back on a guitar.

I traded a 660-6 for 360-12 thanks to chris at the pick of the ricks. I love the neck and according to him, at the time, it was the best neck that he had seen on the 360 models. I have a 360-6 as well and I prefer actually the thinner necks. I also switched the p/ups to toasters on the twelve string. It is a neat difference. I have yet to decide to do it on the six string. The R tail piece is the main reason I have yet to devote the three hours needed to change the strings on the 12...

The R would be a great replacement to Robin's utility belt from the 60's batman tv show. Just imagine that could burt ward listening to the groovy sounds the New Establishment

I had a 330 12. Changing strings with the "R" was a real pain. I always had to have one of my kids help me. It's a "4 hand ordeal"

My 360 12 V64 with its trapeze is a breeze.

I like the way they both look. The trapeze is just easier on the string changing.

I love the "R" tailpiece. It looks cool, I've never had a problem with changing strings on it, and never had one explode on me. Maybe it's close quarters on the 600 series, but on the 300 series it's just right. Just my 2c.
