News Leaked Just Prior To The Genesis Press Conference

After months of speculation, Genesis will finally reunite today at the Mayfair Hotel, Stratton Street, London. They are expected to confirm the rumors of a reunion tour which in it's first leg, will cover Europe.
European Tour Dates:
June 11- Helsinki, Finland Olympic Stadium
June 14- Herning, Denmark Messecenter
June 15- Hamburg, Germany AOL Arena
June 17- Berne, Switzerland Stade de Suisse
June 18- Linz, Austria Gugglestadium

June 21- Katowice, Poland Slaski Stadium
June 23- Hannover, Germany AWD Arena
June 26- Dusseldorf, Germany LTU Arena

June 30- Paris, France Parc Des Princes
July 1- Amsterdam, Holland Arena

Tickets:
Tickets for the German shows will go on sale on Friday, 10th November 2006. UK Shows will go on sale on the 24th November 2006. Tickets for other countries are yet to be announced; however, more dates, including North American tour dates, are expected to be announced later.
The line-up, as expected, will be the traditional (late '70s - early '90s) three piece line-up: Tony Banks, Mike Rutherford and Phil Collins, joined as usual by Daryl Stuermer and Chester Thompson.
SACD/DVD Remastered Back Catalog:
They also announced that the SACDs that we have so eagerly awaited will be made available as SACD/DVD double disc sets, remastered with 5.1 Surround Sound and Stereo remixes. They will be released in three batches throughout 2007 as follows:
March 2007: A Trick Of The Tail (1976), Wind & Wuthering (1977), …And Then There Were Three…(1978), Duke (1980) Abacab (1981)
June/July 2007: Genesis (1983), Invisible Touch (1986), We Can't Dance (1991), Calling All Stations (1997)
Fall/Winter 2007/Spring 2008: Trespass (1970), Nursery Cryme (1971), Foxtrot (1972), Selling England By The Pound (1973), The Lamb Lies Down On Broadway (1974)
