I'm still trying to get over "The Beatles are flippin lousy" thread from months ago. As talented as Pete Townshend is, sometimes he says things that make you wonder if his brain is connected. I guess you can ol' "Ox breath" on that list too. Oh yeah! and Hannity is still a pimp. LOL LOL!

My favorite quote about the Beatles was from Mick Jagger:

Like the Stones have even been together for the last quarter century. Doing a tour every five years does not count.

I don't know much about what Pete Townshend does in his personal life, but I feel he's an excellent writer, great guitarist, and very much a pioneer in the art-rock scene. The Who and The Beatles were totally different, and they both made digs back at one another.

Since the '60's, Pete has some out with a lot of decent things to say about them, especially John.

Entwistle and Macca are oranges to apples. I like them both. But I don't think anyone has ever bashed the Beatles as much as they bashed each other during the '70's.

any man who'd smash up a perfectly good rickenbacker,......let alone several of em.....isn't all there..........
