Yup. When I bought it, it had a Guild pup in it and vol/ toggle/ dead. I got used to the configuration and kept it when I had a toaster put in it.

That was on one of the Japanese sites for a while.
The vintage stuff over there has got quite reasonable in price recently.

Heyyy! A 1969 21 fretter?? Can't say I remember seeing or hearing about that one, Graham. Exactly what month of 1969 is it? My August 1970 looks just like that, except for the treble p.u. surround which has rounded corners. Plus, the original finish was Fireglo. The previous owner of the bass had it professionally refinished in Mapleglo many years back. Welcome to the 21 fret 4001 owners' club as it were.
