381. 381. 381. I'm not usually a fan of that kind of wood figuring, but considering what guitar it is, I'm sure I could live with it if it was my choice. So yeah, 381. And leave the tailpiece absolutely alone. Do NOT touch it!!!!

I'd take the 381/12; it would be a beautiful counterpart to my 381 six-stringer:

I'd go with the 360V64.

381 all the way. Think of all that Ric 12-string goodness with just a hint of added depth and mellowness. Yum. Regardless of how you feel about their appearance -- I personally love them -- the 381's are fantastic sounding guitars.

I've had both & although the V64 was amazing, the 381 was even more so, with the extra space in the body really adding to the tone. A 381 12 IMO is the ultimate! REALLY comfortable to play as well.

A negative for the 381 is the weight. My 381/12 feels heavier than my 4001! Of course, it's a plus for playing while sitting. The 381 sits just perfect in your lap. Feels almost like your playing an acoustic.

Then it's settled. All of you can fight over the 381 and I get the 360!
