Pauly was doing the Wings Over America Tour and when he got to L.A. he had a Limo driver bring his Bass down to John Hall who had it sent over to the Factory on Kilson Drive in Santa Ana(that's when the factory and the warehouse were separate)The pickup was dead, the pickguard was cracked and the zero fret/top nut had problems. Orders were to fix the pickup and do not change the action(Paul liked it on the high side) The pickup had to be replaced because the H.S's would not hold a charge, a stock bridge pickup was put in. The pickguard and top nut were replaced also. This was all done while the Limo Driver waited in F.C. Halls office on East Stevens street. The Bass was rushed back over to John, and was on it's way to the L.A. Forum for the Wings concert that evening.
