Sweet RIC's Steve. Fullers is the place! Gary and I go way back. I used to work with his ex-wife at Gulf Publishing Co. many moons ago. Does John still work at Fullers? John and I were both music majors and went to college together back in the 80's.

Nice brood there, Stephen. I take it your 620/12 around a '79 or '80 model?? Looks like an early one to me...

Dead on, John! My 620/12 was manufactured (according to the serial number lookup at the Rickenbacker site) in February, 1980. A bandmate bought it new. He'd never heard of Rickenbacker until I let him try my 450, and then he got hooked. He's bought several since, and let me have the 620/12 for a couple of hundred back in the mid-80s. I've since broken the pickguard, and am thinking of replacing it with a gold one. And after spending a couple of hours changing strings last night, I'm seriously considering changing the "R" tailpiece for a trapeze. Any thoughts from users?

I bought a Vox AC30CC2 on Saturday. To be sure of the sound, I took my 360/12 along to the store for tryouts. I think I'm gonna like it.
