Hey Bob, why do you say post 90's? Is there a difference between the 1990's and 2000's? I have a 97 and would like to know!

cheers

Oh and by the way Chris - it'sa great color! I passed on one for my JG. I always wanted a JG but seemed to only own MG's which always attracts me. It was a choice I had to make at the moment JG or BG. Today I wish I went BG. If I would have done that I probably would have wished I went with the JG. The decisions we have to make in life :-o

cheers

No I meant just 1990 and up (my lousy English) because of the hot pickups, although I think as the decade went up the necks seemed to have gotten thicker, unless it's just the ones I have. I have three 96, 98 and 2000, each one has a thicker neck than the last, the 96 is my beater, I bought it for $550.00 off Ebay with a bad (unbeknownst to me) treble pickup and some nice scratches and dents, but it sounds and plays the best of all three. The neck is similar to a late 70's 4001.

Man, I hope the new 4003 basses nowadays don't have a thicker neck than my '98 which is thick enough for me, 'cause I'm tempted to order a new 4003 JG.
