Here's the full Associated Press story (I like the re-programming of the alarm codes - and text message - touch):
--------
LONDON (AP) - Police were called to the country estate of former Beatle Paul McCartney after his estranged wife reported the theft of paintings - including a Picasso and a Renoir - from the lodge they once shared, police said Friday.
"We checked the premises, and spoke to Heather Mills (McCartney), and as a result it was found to be a civil matter between her and her husband," Sussex Police spokesman Paddy Rea said. "There's been no theft."
Mills called police Thursday night after discovering that paintings valued at an estimated $19.5 million had gone missing, The Sun newspaper reported Friday.
The Sun, quoting an unidentified friend of Mills McCartney, said that McCartney had taken the paintings and reprogrammed the estate's alarm codes, and informed her Thursday night by text message.
McCartney and his wife announced their separation in May after four years of marriage and began divorce proceedings in July. They have a 3-year-old daughter, Beatrice.
Neither Mills' nor McCartney's representatives were immediately available for comment.

Bill...I know, I know...as for Heather, geesh, but does this ever get tiring?
Her 15 SECONDS are up.

I agree, but I have a feeling that Heather will limp along and milk this gravytrain for all its worth.

I'd say she's probably on her last leg.

Well, okay Mick, I went out on a limb. But in Heather's case, it went out on her.

I heard that Heather is going to start a new band: The Crip-N-Dales. Hell, she's so devious that I wouldn't be surprized to find out that stumpy the gold-digger actually has two legs. But all in all, I dont think this will cripple Paul's career. Heather said of Paul, "He has been my crutch for so long!!" She said in an earlier briefing, "I have no idea why this has happened, I'm stumped". As for Paul, he doesn't know how he's going to find anyone to fill her shoe. Paul should have been prosthetic and seen it coming. Paul was interviewed recently about his failed marriage to Heather Mills and was asked if he would ever go down on one knee again. Paul shrugged his shoulders and replied “I don’t think so… and I would prefer it if you called her Heather.” Good on ya Pauly! You have Heather running in circles!
Finally a poem by Sir Paul McCartney:
I lay upon a grassy bank
My hands were all a quiver
I slowly removed her suspender belt
and her leg fell in the river
ok, ok, so they're not original.

I understand how Paul feels. Unruly family members (or wives), can make your life a living hell! (Pardon my language) I know this from experience. I hope things will get better for him, and for me too. We both deserve it!

Personally, I don't think she has a leg to stand on.
