I see, so I would assume you could find out where you place on the list by calling the store you ordered it from. Hopefully we'll see them in that C63 run I hear everyone talking about. Sounds promising but you never know.

Where did you order yours from? And which shops do you like in Sacramento? I have gone to Skip's a few times before, and they have adjusted my Gretsch a time or two...

I ordered mine from a place in sunnyvale ca, called guitar showcase. As far as music stores in sacramento...dont even bother with them. I buy all my gear from L.A. or San Francisco.

Thanks. Yeah, I like the stores in San Francisco, but I haven't seen too much in Sacramento... but I'm only here for about 2.5 more months, then its back home to San Diego.

Is it Possible to string a 360/12C63 as a 6 string. Or is the tailpiece not set up for that? It looks like it has some big holes in it, almost like you NEED two strings in there so they wont slip out. Anyone know if thats possible?

The model 1997 reissues had trapeze tailpieces, and they were 6-strings:

So did the discontinued 360V64 and the current 660 6 string models.

The trapeze tailpiece can be used with 6 or 12 strings.

Thats good because I plan on switching mine back and forth. The string holes in the trapeze tail piece on the C63 just looked a little big because there are two string ends fitting in one hole. I thought maybe it was just designed for 12 strings ONLY.
